Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") govern the relationship between {{ORG_NAME}} (the "Operator") and the individual or legal entity (the "User") using the Alertov service (the "Service"). Registering an account in the Service constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of this Agreement.
2. Description of the Service
The Service provides tools to organise on-call duty: creation and management of schedules, escalation policies, receipt of incoming alerts (including from Alertmanager), delivery of incident notifications via Telegram and other agreed channels, and maintenance of an incident timeline.
Service functionality may change and expand at the Operator's discretion. The Operator may introduce, modify, or disable individual Service features without separate notice to the User, provided this does not materially impair the core functions listed above.
3. Account
- The User is responsible for safeguarding their password and other access credentials;
- sharing account access with third parties without the Operator's consent is prohibited;
- the Service is intended for persons aged 18 or older;
- the User must provide accurate contact details and keep them up to date.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Service, it is prohibited to:
- abuse the Service API, including exceeding reasonable request-rate limits;
- use webhooks or delivery channels to send spam or other unsolicited messages;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt unauthorised access to the Service;
- use the Service for actions that violate the laws of the Russian Federation or the rights of third parties.
5. Payment
The Service is currently provided free of charge during the beta period. Paid plans will be introduced after the beta period ends, with email notice to Users at least 30 days before charging begins. Transition to a paid plan requires the User's explicit consent.
6. Service availability
During the beta period the Service is provided "as is", without any service level agreement (SLA), uptime guarantee, or warranty of error-free operation. The Operator makes reasonable efforts to minimise downtime and to resolve issues promptly, but does not warrant that the Service will meet the User's expectations or fit the specific purposes of the User's business. The User independently assesses the suitability of the Service for their tasks and, where appropriate, uses backup notification channels.
7. Limitation of liability
The Operator's aggregate liability to the User is limited to the amount actually paid by the User for use of the Service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. During the beta period this amount is zero. The Operator is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or reputational damage.
8. Termination
The User may delete their account at any time through the Service interface. The Operator may suspend or terminate the User's access to the Service in case of a breach of this Agreement, giving notice by email to the address provided at registration, except in cases of gross violation, where notice may be sent simultaneously with termination.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Any disputes arising out of this Agreement are subject to the court at the place of registration of the Operator, unless otherwise provided by law.
10. Changes to the terms
The Operator may amend this Agreement. Users are notified of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated version. The current version is always available at /en/terms.
